Looking at me

Two days ago I had my first colonoscopy. . . at 66 years old! Irresponsible, yes, and also lucky. Two small polyps which "look good" according to my doctor. He will send/call with a report within the next two weeks, I am told. (Polyps are what we do this for.  . . . I'll keep you posted!)
The experience was insignifacant, although the preparation was not wonderful. NEXT TIME I will take the pills, not the liquid, which made me wretch and curse as I swallowed it. The procedure itself was nothing at all. I recommend it for all! . . . but take the pill.

Being over 65. . . 66 years old to be exact. . .  involves many decisions about processes, about who we are. What we need to protect our. . . "over 65" status.
